This section describes how to use the Synth Graph Code editor to create sonifications to your needs.

- Open the sonification element in your workspace by clicking the eye button
- Click the "Edit Synth Graph" button
in the sonification window - Insert code to the editor

Starting point for editing code is the sonification window you already created in the workspace. Learn how to create a sonification here.
The sonification window is an empty mask so far. You are able to fill the mask to your needs by entering code in the Synth Graph Code Editor using the programming language ScalaCollider. Have a look at the sonification example to get an idea of a working sonification.
Click the "Edit Synth Graph" button
to get started with coding.

The Synth Graph Code Editor will open, which is empty so far.

Generate your code by typing it into the editor or copy and paste it from some code you established already. Press Apply to adopt your code every time you modify it.

The compiler automatically works in behind when pressing Apply.

changes its colour to green when compiling was successful.

In this case an error message appears in the Log window that is automatically opened when starting SysSon. It will give you some hints about the possible problem. In the example below the command linlin was not correctly typed and is indicated by an arrow.
