Patch release: the library now builds on Rust 1.88 (previously, and silently, 1.95+), and that minimum is declared and CI-enforced. No API or codegen changes.
core::hint::cold_path()(Rust 1.95+) swapped for a stable#[cold]shim; emitted machine code is byte-identical.rust-version = "1.88", an MSRV job in CI, and the policy in the README.
