I would like to report an issue I am facing when using the flutter_doc_scanner package on iOS devices. I noticed that the autoCorrectionAngle functionality is not being automatically activated during image capture. Furthermore, even after manually rotating the image, the adjusted position is not saved correctly.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
-
Use flutter_doc_scanner on an iOS device to capture an image.
-
Observe that the captured image does not apply the automatic angle correction (autoCorrectionAngle).
-
Manually rotate the image to the correct orientation within the application.
-
Save the image and verify that the manually adjusted orientation was not maintained.
Expected behavior:
-
The autoCorrectionAngle function should automatically adjust the image orientation during capture.
-
If manual adjustment is necessary, the corrected orientation should be saved and reflected in the final image.
Current behavior:
Additional information:
-
This issue has been observed on iOS devices with the latest versions of the operating system.
-
Other plugins, such as image_picker, also face similar image rotation issues on iOS.
Thank you for your attention and I am available to provide more details or perform additional tests that may help in resolving this issue.
