Re-encrypt the plaintext and randomness carried by an auditable ballot with the ballot style public key and compare the result with the ciphertext the ballot contains, for both the single-contest and the multi-contest codec. The Ballot Verifier runs this check before showing a ballot as verified and fails closed with a dedicated error otherwise.
