Research profile

I am a cybersecurity and blockchain-security researcher. My work covers protocol assumptions, Byzantine behaviour, incentive design, privacy, smart contracts, and implementation-level security. I use formal reasoning, threat modelling, security analysis, and experimental evaluation.

Research interests

  1. Blockchain protocol security: adversarial models, security assumptions, and cross-layer guarantees.
  2. Formal methods and verification: specifications, proofs, and automated reasoning for secure systems.
  3. Consensus and Byzantine fault tolerance: resilience, distributed trust, and protocol fairness.
  4. Smart-contract security and privacy: vulnerability analysis and privacy-preserving execution.
  5. Game-theoretic incentive mechanisms: modelling and mitigating malicious participant behaviour.

See my complete publication list for additional work on decentralized identity, Web of Things trust, protocol security, FPGA security, reverse engineering, and timing side channels.

Open to research collaboration

I am open to remote research collaboration in blockchain security, cybersecurity, formal verification, distributed systems, privacy, and related areas. Possible forms of collaboration include:

  • Peer-reviewed papers, surveys, and systematization-of-knowledge studies.
  • Formal specifications, verification artifacts, and protocol-security analyses.
  • Open-source research software, datasets, benchmarks, and reproducibility packages.
  • Smart-contract and distributed-protocol implementations with experimental evaluation.
  • Student co-supervision, seminars, and well-scoped academic projects.

I prefer projects with a clearly defined research question, concrete deliverables, regular communication, and early agreement on authorship, publication, intellectual property, and data-sharing expectations.
