College end sems are coming up and people cheat. That’s just the reality.
One very real problem students face is that they don’t know how to make effective micro-chits — the tiny notes you can actually use inside an exam. It sounds simple, but it really isn’t.
Even when you try using LLMs or other tools, they don’t understand what the output actually needs to look like in practice. I’ve personally struggled with this too.
There are a lot of small but frustrating issues in the process:
You need very small font to fit enough information Margins need to be extremely thin to maximize space You need multiple columns, but formatting them properly is painful Word/Docs often mess up column flow and split content awkwardly Answers get broken across pages or columns There’s no clear way to visually separate questions and answers In an exam, you need to quickly identify what belongs where
All of this makes something that should be simple unnecessarily hard.
V1: completely a mess, tried to add pdf/ppt ocr support but i cant afford to scale it for yall, so just stick to markdown
V2: removed doc processing, added md support, math formulae rendering, added abbreviation support, and made it beautiful Overhaul index.html with new CDNs and UI structure Completely redesign styles.css with a Glassmorphism aesthetic and dense print styling Rewrite script.js to process Markdown, KaTeX, and Smart Abbreviations using marked and DOMPurify Test the application rendering locally
