CPK Codex turns raw fleet data (fuel, distance, maintenance, tyres, licensing) into clear, trustworthy cost-per-kilometre metrics — so fleet operators can see exactly what each vehicle is costing them, spot problems early, and make decisions with real numbers instead of gut feel.
Built by S99 as a desktop application (Electron), so it runs locally on Windows with no server, no subscription lock-in, and no internet dependency once installed.
- Total & Running CPK — Cost per kilometre, calculated monthly and tracked as a rolling trend across the financial year.
- Fuel, Distance & Maintenance tracking — Monthly totals per vehicle and fleet-wide, with month-over-month comparisons.
- Tyres / 1,000 km — Fleet-level tyre cost rate, plus automatic flagging of vehicles running excess tyre usage against a configurable baseline.
- Maintenance & License alerts — Upcoming renewals and maintenance items surfaced automatically, no manual chasing.
- Fleet Efficiency scoring — A single score per vehicle/fleet with trend comparison month-over-month, plus in-target and high-risk breakdowns.
- Data integrity checks — Non-blocking validation runs on every refresh so bad or missing source data is caught early, not discovered three reports later.
- Charts — Total CPK trend, Running CPK trend, monthly fuel cost, and monthly distance, each with a linear trend overlay.
- Excel-based data loading — Bring your own fleet spreadsheet in; no proprietary data entry required.
- PDF export — Turn any month's dashboard into a shareable report.
- Multi-currency and km/mi unit support for use outside South Africa.
Compiled Windows builds are available in the /software folder
of this repository. Download the latest installer and run it — no other setup
required.
CPK Codex ships with time-limited trial licenses so you can evaluate it on your own fleet data before committing:

This installer is not code-signed. Code signing certificates are a recurring cost that isn't justified for a pre-release trial build, so when you run the installer (or the app itself) Windows will show a "Windows protected your PC" SmartScreen warning.
This is expected. To proceed:
- Click "More info" on the SmartScreen dialog.
- Click "Run anyway".
If you'd rather verify the file yourself first, check the SHA-256 checksum published alongside each release against the file you downloaded.
CPK Codex is under active development. Feature names, calculation methods, and UI details may change between releases. Feedback from trial users directly shapes the roadmap — issues and suggestions are welcome.
