Summary

Update the latest Chronograf patch version to 1.11.6 and add the October 15, 2026 maintenance release note for the Go 1.26.9 upgrade.

Follows the two-file release update in #7782.

Validation

• Changed-file verifier, code-block lint, release-version consistency check, and staged-file hooks passed.
• Confirmed only Chronograf's latest-patch value changed in product metadata and existing release notes are unchanged.
• Confirmed the documented Darwin amd64 archive, amd64 Debian package, and x86_64 RPM for 1.11.6 return HTTP 200 from dl.influxdata.com.
• Pre-push hooks completed; the dependency audit reported existing dependency advisories as a non-blocking warning. No dependencies changed.
• Full site build and rendered-link checks were not run locally; CI covers rendering and broader link validation.
