Warning

A merged OpenAPI change does not mean that InfluxDB OSS
implements or has released the specified behavior.

This PR proposes the current OpenAPI OSS contract.
Before merging, confirm that every API change is available in a
released InfluxDB OSS v2 version.
For behavioral changes, confirm that the corresponding server
implementation has merged to main-2.x and shipped.
If only a subset has shipped, regenerate from the appropriate
OpenAPI tag or commit instead.

Review coordination

Apply labels as appropriate:

• waiting:engineering when implementation needs confirmation
• waiting:pr when an implementation PR must merge first
• release:pending until the implementation ships
• release:ready when the docs are ready to merge

Link the relevant:

• influxdata/openapi PRs
• influxdata/influxdb implementation issues and PRs
• InfluxDB OSS release tag or release notes

Superseded by the v2.10 spec resync on the release branch (7554e80, #7907). That resync fetched both specs from influxdata/openapi master and includes influxdata/openapi#658, #661, and #663.
