This is a slightly bigger step than usual, since the Rust stdlib lib under WASI (i.e. for the guests) used to use the WASI interfaces directly, but now links to the WASI interfaces via WASI-libc. This likely fixes some quirky behavior:
unix.rscode on WASI targets rust-lang/rust#147572
