Conflicts were confined to the buildscript blocks this PR removes: main bumped ext.kotlin_version to 2.0.0 and the AGP classpath to 8.3.0 inside them. Resolved by keeping the removals, since the declarations are the legacy pattern being cleaned up. Kept main's updated builtInKotlin comment in firebase_analytics.
firebase_app_check declared ext.kotlin_version but no longer had a classpath referencing it, so the variable was dead. It already relies on the consuming app for the Kotlin Gradle Plugin, same as firebase_database.
cloud_firestore pinned classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:8.3.0' in its own buildscript, which can conflict with the AGP version the consuming app supplies. AGP is inherited from the root project, as it already is in firebase_auth, firebase_core, firebase_messaging and firebase_crashlytics.
Description
Remove stale
buildscriptclasspath declarations from Kotlin-based Android plugins. Several plugins were shippingclasspath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:8.1.4'andclasspath("org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-gradle-plugin:1.8.22")in theirbuildscriptblocks, which can conflict with the app project's actual AGP/Kotlin versions and cause "cannot find symbol" errors during Java compilation. Also removes a duplicate
apply plugin: 'com.android.library'in firebase_analytics.Affected plugins: cloud_functions, firebase_analytics, firebase_performance, firebase_storage, firebase_remote_config.
