My current research interests are moving toward EDGE AI, especially the hardware accelerators and memory optimization for ML models.
I’m a software engineer from Portugal focused on building practical, reliable, and well-architected systems.
I recently completed my BSc in Computing and Informatics Engineering at FEUP and will be starting an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering at DTU in August 2026.
My work sits between full-stack product development, backend systems, distributed / IoT architectures, and increasingly efficient AI systems. I enjoy projects where software needs to be more than just functional: it has to be maintainable, performant, and useful in the real world.
I’m also the founder of Ocean Informatix, where I build websites, platforms, automations, and custom software for clients.
- Full-stack web platforms with strong product focus
- Backend architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- IoT systems, real-time data pipelines, and edge devices
- Efficient AI, model deployment, and hardware-aware systems
- Developer tools and automation
Before software, sports shaped the way I work.
I was a national team handball goalkeeper, captained competitive teams, and later played American football in Germany. That background still influences how I approach engineering: discipline, resilience, accountability, and the ability to perform under pressure.
