Grug

An agent skill that applies the grug-brained developer worldview to engineering decisions without roleplaying caveman dialect.

It focuses on unnecessary complexity, premature abstraction, locality of behavior, practical testing, Chesterton's fence, and small maintainable changes.

Install

Install globally with skills:

npx skills add andiradulescu/grug@grug -g

To preview the skill before installing it:

npx skills add andiradulescu/grug --list

Use

Invoke it explicitly with prompts such as:

• /grug
• grug review this design
• what would grug say?
• grug check this refactor

The skill does not trigger for ordinary engineering discussions unless grug is named.
