Uses PHP 8.5 by default in DDEV and the browser-test container while retaining PHP 8.3/8.4 coverage and explicit PHP_IMAGE_VERSION selection. Browser CI continues to pass the matrix PHP version into its TYPO3 container.
Static and browser test installations use the API-compatible official SVG sanitizer 1.0.0 through a test-only compatibility alias until TYPO3 accepts ^1.0. Both environments run TYPO3 adapter and DTD regression checks, without PHP platform or security bypasses.
Validation: all 13 validation jobs passed in both push and PR runs (26 successful checks): all 6 PHP/TYPO3 static and unit combinations, all 6 Playwright combinations and documentation. Release jobs are intentionally skipped on branches.
