F7-IBAN-Rechner

A legacy mobile IBAN calculator and checker built with Framework7, Vue 2, and Apache Cordova.

This project was created in 2017 during my first role in Germany, as a practical learning project to explore Framework7 in a real app setup.

Overview

F7-IBAN-Rechner is a small Cordova app that focuses on German banking workflows:

• Calculate a German IBAN from account number (Kontonummer) and BLZ
• Validate existing IBAN values with the modulo-97 check
• Show bank metadata (name, short name, city, BIC) based on BLZ data
• Copy generated IBAN values to the clipboard on device

Project Structure

• src/main.vue - main app UI and IBAN logic
• src/assets/js/de.js - German bank code dataset (BLZ, BIC, bank details)
• config.xml - Cordova app configuration and platform resources
• webpack.config.js - legacy webpack configuration

Development Notes

This is a legacy project and keeps its original 2017 setup. There is no modern npm script workflow in package.json.

Local Setup (Legacy)

1. Install dependencies:
   • npm install
2. Prepare Cordova platforms as needed:
   • cordova platform add browser
   • cordova platform add android
3. Run with Cordova (example):
   • cordova run browser

Depending on your local environment, some legacy plugin paths (for example the clipboard plugin source) may need adjustment.

Status

This repository is kept mainly for historical/portfolio and reference purposes.
