v25.12.5 ships OpenSSL 3.5.7. Backport the three openwrt-25.12 commits that follow it:

These can be dropped once the baseline moves to a release that contains them (v25.12.6 or later).

Tested on SonicFi RAP7110C-341X: TLS 1.3 to the uCentral gateway with certificate verification, HTTPS with curl and uclient-fetch (expired and untrusted-root certificates rejected), RadSec through radsecproxy (mutual TLS, untrusted CA rejected) and 802.1X EAP-TLS.

Fixes:WIFI-15767

LGTM

  1. please share sanity check results in the Jira ticket
  2. please fix the commit hygiene issue - the check is in place so the PR sender should be fixing this by themselves without being checked again by the reviewer

v25.12.5 ships OpenSSL 3.5.7. Backport the three openwrt-25.12 commits
that follow it:

 - 7ac5eaf362 openssl: update to 3.5.8
   CVE-2026-18798, CVE-2026-63072, CVE-2026-63076, CVE-2026-14456,
   CVE-2026-14457, CVE-2026-54874, CVE-2026-63073, CVE-2026-63074,
   CVE-2026-63075, CVE-2026-75803
 - c9e33c7467 openssl: drop the AES-GCM-SIV part of the zero-length
   message patch
Required together with 3.5.8: with the old hunk of
   010-fix-aes-gcm-siv-cipher.patch the terminal
EVP_Cipher(ctx, out, NULL, 0) call never checks the tag and a
   forged tag is accepted.
 - e594c1dbf3 openssl: update to 3.5.9
Security release, most severe issue High: CVE-2026-84782,
   CVE-2026-35189, CVE-2026-35191, CVE-2026-42772, CVE-2026-54872,
   CVE-2026-54873, CVE-2026-54875, CVE-2026-72897, CVE-2026-75804,
   CVE-2026-75805, CVE-2026-75806, CVE-2026-77696, CVE-2026-84784

These can be dropped once the baseline moves to a release that
contains them (v25.12.6 or later).

certificate verification, HTTPS with curl and uclient-fetch (expired
