The TIDES Board approved the TIDES Roadmap for 2026-2027 on June 10, 2026. The Roadmap is published on the [Roadmap page](../roadmap) as a comment-enabled living document with a downloadable PDF, alongside a companion Gantt chart tracking resourcing. See [Pull Request #267](https://github.com/TIDES-transit/TIDES/pull/267) for the record of Board member approvals of the publication.

# TIDES Roadmap 2026-2027

The TIDES Roadmap for 2026-2027 is the TIDES Board's strategic roadmap. It describes the direction, priorities, and milestones for the Transit Integrated Data Exchange Specification (TIDES) through 2026, 2027, and beyond, spanning specification development, tooling, community growth, and adoption.

The Roadmap was approved by the TIDES Board on June 10, 2026. The approval is recorded under [Board Actions](actions.md).

## Read and comment on the Roadmap

The Roadmap is maintained as a living document with commenting enabled, inviting ongoing community input:

It is published alongside the Roadmap and updated as resourcing evolves.
