I've been writing Sketchup extension in Ruby for a while and I want to learn how to write C extension, but I have very little prior experience with VS so I don't really know where to start from this code base. Please add quick guide for it. Thanks!

sorry I didn't receive notification so I didn't know you responded. I did manage to get something to work, but it was very challenging navigating through VS since at that time I had no prio experience with the IDE, so a step-by-step guide will be welcome for newer users. I know this is the IDE problem, but it would be nice to have.

I have been wanting to migrate this whole example to CMake for a while. Making it IDE agnostic and instead provide example configutation commands for popular editors.
