Paste this into a terminal. It installs Compartment, creates your encrypted vault and puts it in your menu bar or notification area, ready to use.

pip install compartment && compartment init

Improvements

Installed packs keep their own switch. The two are separate settings again, so turning the starting memories off in recall does not quietly change what an installed pack does.

Bug fixes

• An install that had lost its data files created an empty vault and reported it as ready. The starting memories are read before anything is written, so a broken install now fails with the reason and the remedy, and leaves no half-made vault behind.
