+**Context:** `docs/letters/to-lumen-self-audit-ledger-physics.md` recast "self-audit = a fold over the
+append-only ledger" (`docs/research/2026-07-05-noticing-your-own-flaws-in-math-…-ledger-first.md`, #9498)
+into five physics rhymes. Rhyme #1 (Friston free energy) was **corrected** (#9500) to inherit the existing
+peel: Zeta's "free energy" is memetic/information-theoretic, NOT Friston/thermodynamic — self-audit's
+prediction-error bound and the memetic free energy are the *same information-theoretic variational object*
+(KL/MDL). So #1 is settled as info-theoretic, not a physics rhyme.

+**The task:** pick the load-bearing physics rhyme among the remaining four and formalize it (Lumen maps,
+Soraya proves) — mark each rhyme-not-isomorphism until proven; a proof settles more than assertion:
+
+1. ~~variational free energy~~ — SETTLED as info-theoretic (KL/MDL), not physics (#9500).
+2. **fluctuation–dissipation** — is a deviation from FDT (response vs the ledger's recorded fluctuations) a
+   detected flaw? (candidate: self-audit = an FDT consistency check).
+3. **Noether / continuity** — is `∂(ledger) ≠ 0` where a symmetry was expected a broken conserved current =
+   the located flaw? (DBSP's ∂ as a current).
+4. **self-dual point / zero duality gap** — at the self-dual point (Montonen–Olive `g=1`; even-unimodular
+   **E8**) does the duality gap vanish exactly = a self-certificate? (the internal 4th body; ties `Cl3`/E8).
+5. **Gödel ↔ measurement** — formalize "can't self-verify from inside = can't measure own state without
+   external apparatus" as the FigureEight homoclinic-tangle result generalized (needs the 4th body).

+**Definition of done:** one rhyme picked + a Soraya-lane proof or a crisp refutation (with the tool chosen
+per BP-16), recorded back as `docs/letters/from-lumen-*.md` or a research doc; the falsifiability-ledger
+status updated (rhyme → theorem, or rhyme → refuted).
