Hey, I am working right now on my Bachelor Thesis and would be gladly using that template in typst. I think a lot of students would profit from it, as typst is gaining popularity. @LasseRosenow please review ASAP, we all would be very thankful 🫶 |
Yes I plan to review soon, but please be aware that this template already supports, Bachelor Thesis, master Thesis and Reports. |
|
This is looking very good already, thank you for your contribution! ❤️ I have only looked at it on my phone now, so I will have a look at the compiled output once I am at the uni and will have a deeper look at that date bug. A bit disappointed that typst doesn't translate it automatically 😭 |
No worries. Take your time for review and if you find something, I will fix it👍 |
|
@BennetKrz Do you by any chance happen to have a simple expose example compiled by the latex template? I don't even have latex installed anymore these days, but would like to double check quickly :) |
I will quickly make a Latex expose with the same content as in the Typst example, so you can compare it side by side |
|
@LasseRosenow As English support is only in beta i think it may normal/exacted, that there are some things still in German like "Inhaltsverzeichnis" or i did not find the switch to toggle the full document into English... |

Thank you, looks good to me, I will merge this as is and then make a release, thanks a lot for your contribution! I will mention your user in the changelog unless you object to it :) |
Thanks for this quick review. I have no problem with being in the changelog. |
|
I have made a release as 0.9.0 as that version actually has never been published :) |
|
But it won't be available until that pull request is merged by the Typst team |
|
Nice. I am really new to typst, so i did not know how to create a |
|
Already done :) |
|
If you are curious, the way I do it is to just open the first page of the output PDF in inkscape and then export it as a PNG ;) |
Good to know. Thanks a lot for your work at this template in general. I will definitely use this for my Bachelor Thesis instead of the Latex version :) |
Hello,
i wanted to write my expose for my Bachelor thesis with this template and noticed, there currently is no template for it. So i tried to extend this template to match the Latex expose Template as close as possible.
Im just learning Typst and tried to stick to how you did the other templates. If you find any issues/things that are not done clean please tell me and i will fix it.
Unfortunately im not sure on how to generate a release.
During editing i noticed some thing that i liked to add/fix:
I hope i can help to make this template more identical to the latex one.
Best regards
Bennet
