ubuntu-latest moves to Ubuntu 26.04 from October 19, 2026, and the Linux build compiles against the system GTK and clang. Every Ubuntu job now names 24.04, so the move to a newer release happens when it is made here.

ubuntu-latestmigrates to Ubuntu 26 beginning October 19, 2026. The Linux build installslibgtk-3-dev, clang and cmake from the system and compiles against them, so a silent OS change is the likeliest way for it to break.All four Ubuntu jobs (verify, apk, linux, deploy) now run on
ubuntu-24.04, an LTS image; Windows stays onwindows-latest. Moving to 26.04 later is a one-line change here, checked by this PR's platform builds.Verification: the workflow parses as YAML; this PR's own checks build apk, Linux and Windows on the pinned images.
