Orbit by Noveum

Adds the Apache-2.0 Orbit task manager with web, realtime, maintenance scheduler, gateway, PostgreSQL, Redis and private MinIO storage. Credentials are generated separately. Three data volumes persist application state; database migrations and bucket/CORS initialization run automatically. Official Noveum images support amd64 and arm64 and use the tested 2026.09.24 release tag.

The instructions cover enabling HTTPS on both generated domains before login or browser uploads, optional email configuration, backups and the MCP endpoints. Hosted MCP is https://orbit.noveum.ai/mcp; self-hosted instances expose their own /mcp.

Validation

• All 533 template metadata records pass generate-meta.js --check.
• The upstream template and Compose validators pass for Orbit.
• Imported the Base64 template through an isolated Dokploy v0.29.10 instance and deployed the complete eight-service stack using the public registry images.
• All infrastructure, storage initializer, web and realtime health checks passed.
• Verified through the native gateway: password signup, workspace/onboarding, private document create/read and unauthenticated rejection, OAuth issuer discovery, MCP 401 challenge, realtime tickets, and all four authorized scheduler endpoints.
• The underlying stack separately passed presigned file upload/download, browser CORS and two-client realtime tests.
• Public TLS issuance was not tested on this loopback-only instance; HTTPS setup is explicitly documented.
