Summary
Release 3.4.0 lets the server download supported tModLoader releases without rebuilding the container. Startup stages Workshop changes, tests enabled mods and a copied world, and switches only after validation. A failed live startup restores the previous runtime and data.
The dashboard adds release notices, game-only restart and recovery actions, progress dialogs, optional once-per-release chat announcements, and checkpoint deletion. Successful recovery cleans up its checkpoints after health verification. This also includes nested mod-config editing refinements and the GitHub Actions runner/QEMU warning fixes.
Validation
Operational notes
Automatic runtime updates default to enabled and remain within the supported Terraria 1.4.4 channel. Custom server configurations are excluded from automatic updates. Checkpoints require additional data-volume space. Compatibility tests validate loading and startup, not all gameplay behavior. Container version is 3.4.0; no release is published or merged by this PR.
Image publication now triggers only on VERSION changes on master or manual dispatch. Removed scheduled upstream polling and its obsolete tag-check branch; updated release documentation. Workflow YAML/trigger validation and all 16 Docker Hub publishing tests passed.
