The Politburo shall consist of all elected officers of the CSUA. It shall hold at least three open meetings a semester while school is in regular session. The Politburo shall determine temporary policies of the CSUA. Politburo decisions may be overturned by a two-thirds vote of the general membership at a general meeting.

### **Deputy Vice Presidents’ Committee**

The Deputy Vice Presidents’ Committee shall consist of a group of recent and past members, particularly passionate current and former members and officers. It should be convened at the request of the Politburo, help prevent data loss including due to hardware failure, assist in passdown between successive Politburos, and retain generational knowledge. It shall also retain a similar level of access to and control over technical facilities as sitting executives for the sake of guidance and archival. In the event that the Politburo/club is abandoned for a prolonged period, this committee shall act in its place. It is recommended that the Politburo and this committee meet at least once per semester. Members may be appointed by a simple majority of acting Politburo members or by a simple majority of members at a General Meeting. They may be removed by a simple majority of members at a General Meeting.

### **Other Committees**

Other committees may be created or dissolved at the direction of either the Politburo, or by a majority vote of the general membership at a General Meeting. Directorships or other non-politburo positions shall be appointed by the president and confirmed by the majority of the politburo.
