How to override config file?

I'm just exploring the viper. And curious to know if we can override the config from a file?

#foo.yml
DB:
  HOST: "localhost"
  PORT: "80"

#bar.yml
DB:
  HOST: "site.com"

So that I can get:

DB:
  HOST: "site.com"
  PORT: "80"

I have read everything but I couldn't find a way to override the config file. Isn't it possible?

Small bump, would like to see the same happening. I got a default.json file for all normal variables and I would like to override these values if the same value is set in the .env file. Then again want to override them if the variable is given in the command line (e.g. APP_ENV=test go run main.go.

Currently, you can only read one file with Viper.

You can however merge in config with one of the merge functions: https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/spf13/viper#MergeConfigMap

You can also manually set values by calling Set.
