Custom colors with self hosted icons

I was able to get the docker image running and tested changing icon colors on my dashboard where it all worked great. Is there a way to make the color change work with all self hosted icons and no needing to go to jsDelivr? I am not sure how exactly it works but I assume there is a javascript file that does the work and if so maybe I could use a variable to change the path to my self hosted icon location?

I did end up getting this to work on my Unraid server. I found this pull request, #387, doing what I wanted but it had been closed. I am not sure if this is an option that can be added easily to this main repo or not but here is how I got it working on Unraid.

• Forked https://github.com/jkrgr0/icons to my own repo at https://github.com/Scootter23/icons

• Removed the copying of all the icons since I do not need them all and will use a seperate volume

• Added an Unraid container using my new repo and added a container path of /app/svg and host path of /mnt/cache/appdata/icons

• I copied the regular, the light and the dark svg files from https://selfh.st/icons/ to /mnt/cache/appdata/icons

I can now use the original like http://x.x.x.x:4050/sonarr.svg or any color like http://x.x.x.x:4050/sonarr.svg?color=ff5733

If you don't have Unraid or just want to use docker compose

services:
  selfhst-icons:
    image: ghcr.io/scootter23/icons:main
    restart: unless-stopped
    ports:
      - 4050:4050
    volumes:
      - /mnt/cache/appdata/icons:/app/svg

Note: I am not sure how long my repo will be around so if you want to do this it might be a good idea to fork the original and make changes accordingly.

Apologies as I was on vacation last week and unable to get to this. I'll definitely take a look at incorporating this.

The original Docker image I created included local copies of the icons, but I struggled a bit figuring out the best way to make sure a user's collection was always synced with the collection in the repo - because it's updated frequently and I didn't want to cause frustration from users who were trying to use an icon that appeared on my website while not being in sync with their local version.
