You are referring to the "Tatung Einstein" computer. This emulator is for the Apple Newton MessagePad MP2x00, a completely different system. Sorry, we can't help you here. |

As the emulator authors you might have access to the info I don't. I have a pdf scan of the Albert Revealed book, but it misses important pages, e.g. most of the hardware port descriptions are missing. As I'm having the real thing, I wanted to code some stuff in z80 assembly (just for kicks), one of the things was to read the joystick (I have this digital-DB9 to analog-DIN7 adapter described in the Einstein Monthly Vol1,3). Using the shreds of info from Albert Revealed I've managed to reliably read X and Y axes from the joystick (sending 4 and 5 to port 38H and reading a value after each send), but I can't figure out how to read the button! Is there a separate port for this?
