Why does the Zest cookie banner come back every week in Safari? I set expiration to 365 days #4

Nothing is lost, it's Safari. Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention caps every cookie set from JavaScript at 7 days, no matter what expiry you ask for. Zest stores the consent choice in a first-party It's not a Zest thing, it hits every JS-set consent cookie from every CMP that stores state client-side. If a week isn't enough for your compliance model, the fix is server-side: read Details and the cookie's exact shape: https://cookiezest.com/docs/configuration/#how-long-consent-lasts |

My expiration is 365 days and it works fine in Chrome, but on Safari (Mac and iPhone) visitors report the banner reappears roughly once a week. Is the consent record being lost, or is something capping it?
