Feature Request: Add sidebarHeader slot in Toolpad Layout

Summary

Hi team,

It would be great to have a sidebarHeader slot or slotProps.sidebarHeader in the Toolpad layout to allow adding custom content (like a logo or title) above the sidebar navigation.

This would make it easier to match custom designs without needing to override the layout.

Does the https://mui.com/toolpad/core/react-dashboard-layout/#branding slot fulfil your requirement?

There is also the header slot in the works which lets you override the entire header section of the DashboardLayout while bringing in the default ThemeSwitcher and Account components as composable units

However, the branding slot doesn’t fully meet our requirement. What we need is the ability to insert a custom component before the navigation items begin, especially for mobile view where layout behavior differs. I’ll attach a screenshot to clarify the layout we’re aiming for.

Looking forward to your thoughts on whether this can be supported or considered in a future update.

We're considering both a slot for content at the top of the sidebar and the ability to completely override/customize the sidebar.
