the binary size is too big

What happened?

I"m wondering is there a reason for the binary to be 43.3 MB on ubuntu nearly twice the size of the darwin binary? I looking for ways for this is to be more optimized

Steps to reproduce

the installation takes a very long time nearly 3mins

Expected behavior

binary size should be less than 10mb maybe

Haven't looked too deeply, but part of why the binary is large is because it re-packages Bun (for ease of installation compatibility). Which is the same thing Opencode does.

I believe there're ways to avoid packing the full bun binary if we looked deeply, not sure if this is a priority now or not but it would help a lot .. closeing this if no plans of doing so ..

If you can find a clever way to do it, I'm all for it. I did do some passes to optimize it in the past.

Maybe you can do something with Nix or build from source to avoid the tax.
