Split panel with image

I'd like to create a slide with a multi-column or split pane that includes an image on one side and then my presentation text on the other side. I tried using III to create a 2 column slide with an image and text, but the image never renders. I just get the image path.

Likewise, it would be nice to have a section heading to title slide with an image. If I insert an image on those slides:

I get the image but it is formatted separately.

In addition, pagination gets omitted for this slide.

Since I was making this just for me, I made some serious assumptions while creating Deck:

• Title/H1/# and Subtitle/H2/## formatted slides would have no additional text/images
• Image slides (like the "Slide 4" example) would always be 60/40 split

I've already run up the H1/H2 issue a few times myself, so I'll gladly turn that into an Issue.

As for the second point, what would you like to see instead?

Assuming you are talking about my slide 4 example, at a minimum, there should be a single panel. Everything else I think depends on content related to my other concerns. There may be times when I want the image off to the side in a multi-column layout. I don't mind the 60/40 split. Or there may be times when I want the image followed by text or bullet points, or maybe text then image.
