Make sidebar icons and search text smaller

@gnmyt how do you feel about making the side icons and search text smaller? My thought is the buttons are unnecessarily large, as is the text in the search box. The former meaning less space is available for the rest of the app, the latter meaning you can fit less search items into the search bar (which, in all honesty, people aren't going to be putting 3+ words into it).

In general my motivitation is just to make it look a little more polished.

Related to design, in the Connector, is it possible to get rid of the native titlebar and just build the OS's controls into the tab area? It's a lot of unnecessary space being taken up.

Can you not auto hide the connection bar with the main toolbar down the left when you click the logo, I know you can drag it to hide it but getting it back is problematic, at least that way the size of the connection list is less of a problem.
