Hi everyone! 👋

I'm Deepanshu Singh, a student interested in contributing to MDAnalysis for Google Summer of Code (GSoC).

I have started contributing to the codebase and recently opened PR #5460 (fixing extra water bonds handling in the RDKit converter, addressing #5450).

I am excited to learn more about the project, engage with the community, and work on upcoming features/issues. Looking forward to connecting with mentors and fellow contributors!

The GSoC application window for this year is already closed. Until GSoC is announced next year, there are no guarantees that GSoC will happen or that MDAnalysis will participate.
