Shibisty — 2 free plugins for GrapesJS: Context Menu & Sidebar Tools

Hi everyone 👋

The Shibisty studio just released two free plugins that cover things many of us end up building by hand in almost every GrapesJS project: a right-click menu and a more usable Layers sidebar.

Both are free for personal and commercial use and tested with GrapesJS 0.19.x – 0.23.x.

🖱 Context Menu

A right-click context menu for the canvas and the Layer Manager, plus a clickable hierarchy badge on the selected element.

Actions available from the menu:

• add a block inside the element
• select parent / child
• reorder and move
• clone
• delete

Labels go through the editor's I18n module (contextMenu.* keys). Translations ship for every locale in grapesjs/locale (ar, bs, ca, de, el, en, es, fa, fr, he, id, it, ko, nb, nl, pl, pt, ru, se, tr, vi, zh) plus Ukrainian (uk).

🧩 Sidebar Tools

Turns the Layers panel into a split sidebar:

• top — the layer tree (unchanged)
• bottom — Style Manager / Component Settings tabs, shown while Layers is open and a component is selected
• a drag handle between the halves (double-click resets to 50/50)

The real Style Manager / Trait Manager DOM is moved into the bottom half, not re-rendered, so the managers keep working as usual.

It also remembers in localStorage:

• which Style Manager sectors are open
• the active bottom tab and the split height
• the active global tab (Styles / Settings / Layers / Blocks) after reload

Works with the default panels (e.g. grapesjs-preset-webpage) and with custom layouts that use layerManager.appendTo.
